Wondering if there was a place that taught hand to hand fighting and not just MMA at normal person prices..?

Are you looking for perpetual training or just a specific course.

I offer courses along that line from time-to-time. I don't teach them, but one of my Instructors does. He also does private training.

Hand-to-hand is not something that you're going to get a lot out of going to a few classes. You need a lot of practice with an actual opponent.

That's why I hate those women's self-defense classes. You take pretty much any woman fresh out of a self-defense class or two and any average dude that decides to hurt her is going to wipe the floor with her.

The man I train with is Krav Maga instructor Ted Manolis and he is located at Champion Martial Arts in Griffin GA. He got his instructor certification from Nir Maman and trains with David Kahn and Haim Gidon. Brutal hand to hand fighting if that's what you are looking for.

I wish we had a KM school around here. Then again, I don't have time to train in what we do have so it wouldn't matter much.

Yeah. My son is in a BJJ class and I was working with the boxing/kickboxing coach during his class for a while. I finally realized that was something that needed more time than I had. Each class was like the first class because I didn't have time to practice stuff between classes.

Depending upon my schedule and when I can get to class- I went out and got a Bob  and a reflex bag to increase my hand speed and hand to eye coordination for striking. This way I could work on strikes and drills between classes.
