I agm trying to gauge the interest in setting up some regular classes for new gun owners.
I have all too often see people buy guns and never learn to clean or care for them. This would basically be a remedial class for newbies. Works great for, and in conjunction with, CCW instructors. just looking for some Idea of demand or opinions I am also setting up a 1911 specific class as well. Chuck |

The 1911 class will be complete detail stripping, troubleshooting, function, proper operation,etc. Everything shy of gunsmithing.
Thats a different ball of wax. the idea is to have everyone leave with a complete understanding of thier firearm. The last time I did this it was from 2-4 hours with 20 students. Chuck |

I am reviving this thread to add classes are on. classes will start Tuesday the 17th of Nov.
Classes will run from 6pm to 8pm approximately. Tueday through Thursday Other times can be arranged and larger groups accommodated with prior arrangement Location will be at my home in Albuquerque I will limit classes to 1 to 4 participants. Course syllabus will be the complete understanding of your weapon, to include detail stripping, troubleshooting, and proper maintenance. Cost of Class will be $45.00, no more than 2 handguns per participant You may e mail me for contact info and directions or call. Refreshments will be provided and prior sign up with the firearms you will be bringing is mandatory. no tools necessary This will be Handgun Only, all modern firearms welcome.
