Good Afternoon Gentlemen,
I wanted to get some information and status as to what happened with this travesty. I live in Nevada and today while at my S.O.T.'s we struck up a conversation as we are both 10mm aficionados. My guy here said that he sold his Glock 20 after reading about what happened to Mr. Fish. I advised my friend that I have had my G20 for too long and use it both for wintertime carry and as a trail gun, to just give it up. I remembered hearing about the case peripherally and thought it sounded like a good shoot, never heard about the after-action. I did some Google-Fu and found some info (dated 2009) and just wanted to see if someone out there with boots-on-the ground could fill in the blanks. Please, someone tell me that this man is free again. Keep The High Ground, G ETA: I also went through the archives until I got a headache...could not find any info. ArfCom 'search' feature sucks. |

This is a good podcast to listen to about it. JR Robie from Caswells talks about it.

Thank you, gents...I appreciate you addressing this and whatever happened, I am glad to see Mr. Fish vindicated and a free man.
I am not sure if he was carrying a G20, just making a supposition...not too many 10mm semi-autos out on the market and the G20 is one of the more prolific ones. Lastly, I just wanted to tell all of you AZ guys that the shooters in Northern NV follow what is going on in your state, the 2A politics and how AZ impacts the way our western states think and behave. Personally speaking I have been often and like your state...you guys rock, keep up the great work! Oh, and don't worry...I'm not moving there...LOL! The wife is 7th generation Montanan and when we leave NV it will be to the Republic of Montana. Still, we'll look forward to visiting AZ...especially in the middle of the Montana winter :-) Keep The High Ground, G ETA - the podcast is a good listen...Mr. Fish was packing a Kimber stoked with Federal Hydra-Shoks |

ETA - the podcast is a good listen...Mr. Fish was packing a Kimber stoked with Federal Hydra-Shoks That is of interest, I had always assumed Glock 20. I am pretty certain that's correct, I followed for the longest time. I have the case saved somewhere on my computers. |

I knew Mr Fish carried a 10mm, was it a G20? Kimber Eclipse 10mm. IMHO what got Fish convicted was two things: 1) he did not hire an attorney who specialized in Self Defense law. Frankly his lawyer was so bad the guy should never be allowed to practice law again. 2) He admitted to firing "warning shots" at the dogs. It's really hard to convince a jury you were in fear of you live when you shoot warning shots at the dogs and shoot center of mass on the human. |
