About 3 months ago someone caught and turned in a tiny dog who was starving, cold & wet and near death to the Peotone Animal Vet Hospital who nursed him back to health and put up flyers about a Lost & Found Dachshund. After 6 weeks nobody claimed the little guy. My X-girlfriend heard about him and went to the vet to see him. She called me from the vet asking me if I would take him. I said "NO" because I already have a dog, a 7 year old mini-Dachshund who at 11 pounds is also a small dog. Then she told me the vet could not keep him forever and he was already on death row and had just 11 days until he was going to be put down by lethal injection. I said "fuck that shit" and sight-unseen I said pay the man and bring the little convict over. The vet charged me $56 for nuetering, shots, license, flea dip and basic grooming which i thought was cheap. Now I have another dog. I figure he's between 9 and 12 months old and he weighs 9 lbs.. Although he's used to me and my other dog, he's affraid of everything and he bites so noone can pet the cute little puppy. He sleeps on my lap, safe, warm and well fed. I named him BuckyBuck and Buck will be on EZ Street from now on....
Both dogs....
Me, Bucky and Rocky...
Thanks for reading. Ang.

Beautiful dog, Charlie.
I have had a miniature and they are wonderful animals. She was aggressive, as well. It's the breed, I think.

You got taken. That's not a dog! That's a floppy eared rat! My wife had a mini. She'd get another one in a second although I have issues with a dog that can't go up and down the stairs on his own.

Very cool. We had our own "off campus frat" back when and we were the Tri-Beta house, home of the fighting Dachshunds.

Buck certainly had a great first Thanksgiving. Death-row dogs make the best pets.
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving too, Angelo.

Great looking dog, I know that both of you will be happy. My daughter and husband got one of their dogs, another Dauchshund the same way. My wife and I adopted a Lab in July in a similiar situation best damn dog that I've owned to date.
