I am new to this forum and just thought that I would introduce myself. I am in Orange, VA. I am really interested in trying to build my own AR-15 and the how-to guides attracted me to this site. Hopefully, I will be able to find help if I have any questions. In the meantime, hello. |
What he said! You won't find a better group of people, then the VA members that hang out here.

Picked the right place Man. These guys know everything (well....gun related anyway, maybe not things like fine art, social skills, massage technique, etc. etc.). Seriously if you're just starting out, there very likely won't be anything you run into that someone here doesn't have in-depth knowledge of that they are eager to share. I love Orange Co. along with anywhere upper Piedmont. Just beuatiful! |
no way, arfcom is a wealth of knowledge! they are thinking about starting a arfcyclopedia. |
I was thinking beer Civprod, Welcome! I think Templar can point you to an AR friendly shop not too far away from you. Unfortunately I don't get out of the occupied northern part of the State much. |
Covered! ![]() A Little rusty but I have enough reference books to answer almost anything I don't remember from school

| I'm just south in Albemarle/Charlottesville with some other AR guys. I've built an M4, currently gathering tools to completely build uppers from parts. If you need tools just let me know, I got the roll pin punches and some experience, and a book or two. You are welcome to join us at the range or get some coffee and talk ARs, or do some builds. |
You really owe it to yourself to buzz on down to DeGoff's in Mechanicsville (Richmond 'burb) and have a drool-in with Templars not-only AR's but also AK's, FAL's, M1A's, 12-gauges, etc. etc...... |
