It was -10 when I left Il. and it is 79 here. There were at least 18 new anti gun bills submitted the rules committee in Il.. I see at least two pro gun bills proposed in Fl. I think I am going to like it here. BTW: Can anybody recomend a good bank? We currently have Chase and National City. I don't see any around. I am in Miami, but will have to go to Jacksonville for a couple of months, then will probably end up in Ft Lauderdale for work. Thank you MK |

Welcome! I moved from NY because of the gun laws, my wife moved for the sun. FL rocks. CitiBank just cancelled CDNN's account and have been known to cancel cards on people who buy guns. Lots of hoopla a few weeks ago in the GD. I use Wachovia, I HATE most banks but Wachovia seems to care about this thing called customer service. I'm still learning about it because I am not very familliar with it. |

Welcome to Florida. I don't actually use a bank. My wife and I both have memberships in credit unions. The rates are usually better, and they have very few picayune rules. If you scout around, you should be able to find a credit union near you. It seems that there are Bank of America branches everywhere, even in some Publix supermarkets.
