Hi, all!
I'm visiting VT (Stowe) for until Thur. So far, I've seen two subtle signs of welcome; 1) a VT license plate in Stowe - "45ACP", and 2) a Glock sticker on the fridge at "Jimmz", a pizza place just outside Stowe (Waterbury?). Beautiful area!! |

The rest of the family is skiing. I'm support personnel.
Yeah, it was pretty cold today. I am NOT going outside tonight!! We'll hit the slopes again tomorrow, and then start heading home tomorrow. I've been told that the fly fishing in the spring and summer here is fantastic. True? |

Yes, wonderful fly-fishing all over VT and NH. I spend lots of time tossing flies when it's just a touch warmer. If you're here in the spring, summer, or fall PM me and I'll get you out on some great streams. Thank you! I will definitely try to take you up on this offer! My wife has been indicating that she would like to see the area in warmer times, so maybe we'll find some time early this summer. |

inGobWeTrust is correct - there is excellent fly fishing up here. Just this past summer I discovered a little stream about 3 miles from my house that holds good numbers of native Brook Trout. Man are they tasty! The fish aren't big but there are a ton of them - the stream is maybe 10' wide at it's widest. And there are many larger streams that hold bigger fish, rainbows, browns, etc. |
