Saw you yesterday and I noticed they your caboose looks like it has been painted recently. I thought all of them had graffiti painted down the side.
And YES it was you... Only you can blow a horn like that... |

That was not me. While we were picking up some cars at Gold Bar around 1930 last night, my job does not have a caboose. You probably saw the work train. They have been staging a lot of hoppers of ballast and air dumps of rip rap at Gold Bar.
But yes, they have been refurbing what cabooses are left. New paint and some are getting remodeled interiors with new refrigerators, reupholstered bunks, nice new captain's seats, Honda generators, new air horn systems, etc. |

Yes they looked like ballast cars. Isn't there a pit west of Skikomish for BNSF Yup, Miller River pit. They blast rock and load rip rap (large boulders) into air dump cars. |

How old are them puppies? and are all of them green? ATSF where red back in the day... Dodn't know if they where going to only use the BN colors |
