What are you bringing to shoot tomorrow?
I'm bringing: AK pistol with green laser to adjust (taking about 50 rounds unless I decide to bring an SKS bandolier) 22-250 Encore for some 200 yd shooting (some reloads I like with different bullet seating to try out for accuracy) 223 Savage bolt for some 200 yd shooting (lots of different types of ammo to try out) M1A with around 100 rds of mil surp 410 shells. Anyone wants to shoot the M1A can but my zero is way off most other folks. ( age and a stigmatism) I have more ammo than I'll shoot. S&W 442 everyday carry with less than 50 reloads. Anyone wants to shoot the AK pistol after I get it adjusted is welcome too. Bring some ammo if you have it. I don't care how much it gets shot. I have a new G2 trigger group in it so the trigger reset should be OK this time. Oh, and i'll bring a shooting mat for prone too. But you're gonna need a crane to get my fat ass up if there isn't a sizeable crew there to help. Saturday June 6th, 2009 10 AM

So far I m bringing, car 15, Sig 556, Kel Tech PLR 16 (223 pistol) 9 mm beretta I was thinking about selling. Leaving a lot at home due to space in the jeep. Might bring the Garand but not sure yet. AK is staying at home. I really need to fire the Sig a bunch due to an upcoming competition I will be using it in.
I am bringing a lot of target materials. I might just throw a bunch more in the jeep if I take out the back seat. |

Sorry to butt in... shouldn't have typed that with this crowd! SWATROCK - is the trigger on your Kel-Tec PLR-16 complete and utter crap - lots of heavy gritty travel? I finally shot one I got yesterday. Like the idea HATE the trigger. What kind of sights/scope do you use? When I clean it latter I'm going to see what I can smooth up to get a better trigger. Hi-jack over for now, everyone return to their assigned seats. |

The trigger is actually pretty good. The first couple of times I shot it I jerked it a little. Its not too far off from my DPMS trigger but since you hold that rifles differently of don't notice it being creepy. I shoot a couple of weapons that have light triggers and anything over 5 pounds seems heavy.
Im a bit spoiled with a LDA para 45 with a 3 lb trigger and a FN 308 with the same 3 lb. All of that being said I have been able to group it pretty well. Actually with open sights better than my Glock 21c. I have a sig light and laser under it and a sig holo on top. I had bought the frond rail grip for the gun which I am glad I did. Butt in anytime!!! |
