First off, congrats on the wedding, dude she definitley looks like a keeper!!! But, secondly, as promised. Your 25-06 so far has passed on 2 3x3's,2 3x2's and too many forkies to shake a stick at. Hopefully on the first week of Nov I'll have a pics of some backstraps for ya  BTW, that thing hates Rem factory ammo!!! Hates it! Seems to love the quick handloads of 115gr Nos BT's though

That's great and all, but seeing as you reffered to it as my (Ziess's) rifle I am going to need some Jerky/Sausage/Backstraps from that first kill to make me feel better about pawning off that fine weapon to you. Good luck on your Elk hunt!  Hmm... I never noticed it did not like the Rem stuff, interesting. I routinely shot the Rem stuff at 300 yds with no problems. Oh and thanks for the comments about the wifey, I definiitely got lucky with her!  What a sweet, sweet rifle. If you ever want to sell it, let me know first. |
Beings how a 22lr isn't legal for these little rat valley deer we have, I had to step down to a quarter bore to keep the overkill to a minimum

With the way you shoot I am sure a .22lr wou;d do just fine.
