Does anybody know of any processing businesses in the triangle area?

Got a group that have planned a hog hunting trip to SC in January. The website of the guide service advertises "processing" for $45 per animal.  To me processing means bagged up and ready to eat. Unfortunately it only means skinned and quartered; we've paid our deposits. Rant over

There is a guy out 54w just past carborro that proceses deer for a very reasonable rate. Also there are several processors in Louisburg. Also alot of taxidermists will process game, they might be worth looking up as well.

Be very careful messing with 'shade-tree' processors that do not have a reputation for hygenic methods of processing. Make dang sure you get some references from people that have used them before and check out the processing room. If you see something that doesn't look right (fat left on the equipment, buckets of scraps sitting around, etc., don't leave the meat with them. You might bring home something you don't want.

Order a heavy duty meat grinder with sausage attachement and a band saw and you can do it yourself for a long time.
