Not to one up you guys but.... Here's my been stuck in the heat bitch... Went to a domestic tonight (20 mins before the end of my shift). No Air (conditioning at this dump. I was POORING sweat.), I'm wearing 22lbs of gear (vest), and I've just got off a "fight in progress" call only minutes prior where I was out in this heat crap with "beach drunks". (which took an hr to wrap up,..IN THE SUN!!) Anyway, I arrive with another officer. Hubby, an (ARMY DI) dude says "OFFICER CLEANER CAN NOT COME INSIDE, HE'S HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH MY WIFE!!"   (I was at the house a year earlier for the same shit). Appearently his "wife", in order to make hubby jealous, claimed to him, I WAS HAVING AN AFFAIR with her!! I'm thinking; "I'm single, girls WON'T date me because I'm "a cop",...WHO IS THIS BEEEOOOOTCH???" She 'fesses up to all of us, "SHE LIED". (I'm thinkin that this dude, for an entire year thought I, the local police was getting it on with his wife). Think about it, if he were to go ape shit over that myth, he could run up to my window & put one between my headlights at any time. AND I WOULD NOT KNOW WHY!!!!\ Anyway, she admitted to lying. ....I shortly recieved another domestic call, and which therfor crushed my plans for an after work date I had been looking forward to for a a week.  I had to cancell it. She didn't sound happy, and I'm guessing I'm not getting another shot.BOTTOM LINE!!,......I BLAME IT ON THE HEAT!! ....what a crappy night. that's my rant |
Its pushing 97 degrees here in the shop at work, not to mention that I get to work over cars that have been running and the engines are over 200 degrees. Barely any to no air flow and also muggy as hell . It was 89 degrees in my house when i went to bed at 11:00 last night.
