Who seems to provide the best rates / coverage for homeowner's insurance in AZ? I'm closing on the new house next week, but won't be 'living' there for a while yet. My current insurance company doesn't want to touch it, so I have to start from scratch. |

Quoted: No specific company but try not to be classified as a non-occupied/second home. Many companies will not cover you or will charge a premium. Yeah...ran head first into that wall, hence the post. Then I got smart and a little more careful with my words and bingo. Covered. |
| I use State Farm. All cars, HOG, street rods, house, and umbrella policy. There is no way I could get the coverage anywhere else cheaper. Maybe it is just the agent I picked. I have used them for close to 20 years. They paid off one auto loss in 14 days to my $atisfaction. |

one guy will say he has the best rates with allstate, the next state farm and so on.....
I was with allstate for 20 plus years... the last several years every 6 month renewel the rates would go up by 4 bucks.... NO tickets since 2001. I called Geico they cut it from 112 a month to 53 dollars, and now I got my first 6 month renewel from them now 48 bucks.... felt bad but like I told my agent its different if its 10-20 bucks but in HALF....... sure you dont get the personal service as you do with a local allstate or state farm, but for that savings.... When I got the geico rate online, I had to get my allstate policy and call and verify coverages were the same.. SO Having the house with allstate, their DISCOUNT for having both.. thought I would call geico on house... they have places that write their home polices, but When they called me back, found out Allstate had my house insured lower than they should, but anyways I KNOCKED off 350 bucks off my annual house insurance as well... when I have called geico, I always get thru although always someone different, but for that savings.. |
