When I saw your ar at the january shoot at melamoose, it had pink furniture. I'd like to do the same for my gf and would like to know where you guys got it.

Thanks.

WS4LIF made it up for her.  Looked like standard AR furniture painted pink, but I don't remember how he did it.  Send him an IM and I'm sure he'll help you out...

You don't have to use paint.

The lower is a polymer receiver probably made by Cavalry Arms (see the pink gun here: www.cavalryarms.com/MKI.html).  It was proably injection molded using pink plastic.  The handguards are probably also made out of a pink polymer.  I see pink handguards for sale here: www.azexarms.com/cavfurniture.html

Go to lauers custom weaponry, they have a product called duracoat and they have a color called pink lady that looks just like that. It works well and sticks to anything, plastic, polymer, alluminum, steel, it doesn't matter. I saw an ak-47 painted with that a guy on the ak forum built for his girlfriend, that and baby blue, it was "cute".

Guess WS won't come in here to answer, IIRC the furniture came from cav arms, just the handguard, grip and stock.  It is a normal AR other than the Barbi like furniture!

Shot pretty damn well too, ultralight barrel, pretty easy to smack the gongs we had up at memaloose with it!
