The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Bar-B-Que Cookoff

CCW or No CCW..............that's the question?

Will be in my Company's Booth Saturday night and would like to know is carrying is legal at this event.  Nothing on their website.

Thanks,
TG

Do you seriously feel the need to pack at the cook off? There is a cop every 10 feet eating BBQ. Just hit one across the head with a sasage link if you need a gun for anything other than opening a beer bottle.

I see lots of 51% signs.
So in the common area or carnival maybe.
Private parties, no or maybe not.

There won't be metal detectors and if you should have to shoot someone it helps to have your own gun.

I posted this question here before.  No one could say.  I emailed the DPS concealed handgun department and they couldn't say.  They told me to call the HLSR.  I have not called them yet.
I was more concerned about the rodeo, and concert.  I just want to know if I can carry inside or if I need to get a safe installed in my truck.  There is no way in hell I am going into Houston without a gun, or 3.

There's to and from the parking lot.  The park & Ride area...and so on!  I just feel naked without it.  I may just stay at home.  I hate dealing with drunks!

BTW...thanks for the replies!
