So far it's been very quiet, compared to previous elections, here on the outskirts of Boulder.
The neighbor who worked in the Obama administration has his Harris/Walz sign up, of course. (Obama is his lord and savior.) The neighbor who's a retired DC public defender has been invisible -- fine with me, since last time his yard still sported an enormous 10-15 foot long Biden sign a month after the election. The neighborhood email list, silent on the matter so far. Not many signs at all outside local things.
As usual, I got a mail-in ballot for the daughter who moved to Montana a long time ago and tried again and again to get herself off the registered voter list here and finally gave up. She's been voting regularly out there since she moved, but the Colorado SoS -- a PoS -- can't seem to run a department that cares about potential fraud. I will be checking to see if she "votes" -- wow, would I start a shitstorm on social media. So the bait is in the water and I don't expect it to get hit, but who knows.
So, here in a Democrat area, there doesn't seem to be a lot of energy. Maybe they feel kicked in the balls. Hope so, anyway.
