Of fuel tax revenue are lower than predicted!!! OMG OMG we must raise taxes to pay for roads!
For those that don't know, NYS charges fuel tax based on the dollar amount of the fel, not the quantity like most states. So these lower fuel prices are going to crush Albany's budget. They spend all they get and then some, and NO ONE ever plans on such a huge reduction. Just wait for it. |

I'm still waiting for the price to drop. Some posts in gd make mention of sub $2 a gallon, I think I even saw a member claim $1.50 ish. $1.859 for me. Freedom, good weather, and low cost of living scare me. You keep your cheap gas, ours is hovering just over $3 a gallon. |

Just like the "temporary" .05/ gallon " road repair surcharge" that additional amount will become permanent when fuel prices go back up. |

Since Hodgdon Powder is in Shawnee, KS that's not too far over the MO State line.....I could see that being a very bad thing for my budget. |

Quoted: $2.53 in Nassau county near me is the cheapest I've seen!! $2.479 at several stations in South Farmingdale. I always fill up there as it is near my sister and along my commute to Babylon. We are running $.22/gallon higher on the north shore Zoned pricing at its finest... |

I have to check gas buddy again, but last time I saw BJ's in Geneva at $2.65, but it's probably $.10 lower by now. So, fuck NY again. If fuel is cheaper, then gov't is paying less for fuel, so fuck their budget gap bullshit. Damnit, this HTF gets me pissed off, and it's not the fault of anyone posting in it. |

Either Clayton Fire or A-Bay has two airboats and nobody smart enough to operate them..... "Ain't but two kinds of Airboats: those that have sunk and those that heven't yet"
