Rainier, made by In 1977 the brewery was sold to G. Heileman Brewing Company, and passed through several more hands before finally winding up owned by Pabst, which closed it in 1999. The Rainier brand was sold to General Brewing Company, which moved production to the Olympia brewery in nearby Tumwater, Washington. The Olympia Brewing Company closed in 2003. Rainier Beer is still made but ironically it's back in California, brewed under contract. |
At the brewery, of course. Drive to the northern I-5 / I-405 exit, and go west. It will start as a highway (Mukilteo Speedway), and soon you will go through a bunch of lights. When you get to the stop sign in front of the ferry, it's going to be the beat-up looking white building immediately to your left. Awesome food that you cook yourself... it's served on a smoking hot granite stone. And, the best damned beer ever made. Let me know when you are going, I'll swing by. |

Poll results prove; That 63% of us drink normal cold beer, however available, without making it a fucking 'shopping experience'. The rest of you can either stop bitching about non-stout-lager-ale-amber-hyphenated-micro-shampoo, or move to franch, and drink wine with 1peterpuffer. |
