I am considering pursuing joining the ISRA range, but the website actually doesn't list the rules of the range.  I would like to know the rules before I join.  I read the rules of a range in WI and it said centerfire rifles have to be loaded with only one round at a time.  That's a deal breaker for me, does ISRA range have a rule like that?

Also do any of you have any general comments about it?

Thanks.

The ISRA doesn't have many rules.  There is no rule for the number of rounds loaded in a firearm, so bring your C-Mags and have at it.  They do not allow 50 BMG.

I like the range because you have a key card and you can come and go anytime.  Shooting is alowed from 8:00 am until dusk.  You can camp at the range.  They have bathrooms with showers.

The range is usually not crowded.

+1 on what Roadhawk said.  I just dug up my rules and regs and he's correct 100%.

I hear they allow controlled rapid fire. No bumping though. I really need to join the range sometime soon!

As it was put to me when I joined " Don't shoot over the berm and don't shoot the Baffles and you won't have any problems!"  It is a great range BTW

There is really no one there to tell you not to bump fire.  And again, there is noting in the rules about rate of fire.

I just renewed my ISRA membership, do I get Range access, or is that an extra fee?

That extra.  Fill out an application + $120 a year + 2 work days.
