I'm the guy who turned in his paperwork in February. Well I got home today after ringing the bell for the Salvation Army and cutting a Christmas tree with the family and found my full carry permit in the mail. 10 months but it's here!
I bought a S&W MP in 9mm because of it's lefty friendlieness. I took my NRA pistol class today and plan on more training soon along with lots of practice. |

Glad I got offered a job here in Atlanta. Out of curiosity, how much is a permit up there? |

Good to know that OC is still under a year. My wife (Wodstock) has her CCW paperwork, has to to the fingerprinting and put down some references. Going to put all of mine on hers. Friend of mine got hers in Wayne County in 3 months. You had to give references for a permit? They didn't ask for it when I filled out my paperwork. The whole process took literally 15 minutes from the time I showed up to the court house ( Filled out papers, and they ran fingerprints through the NCIC/FBI ), and submitted it to the judge. Got my permit in literally 10 days in the mail. |

It's just a way of making it more of a burden to get one here , because why in the blue fuck would anyone submit a bad reference
"Hey maybe that old boss i threatened could send in a reference for my permit honey!!!"
