I can't tell you folks the grin I had on my face on the way home today. Picked it up a few hours ago and I still haven't stopped smiling. I've been wanting this car since I turned 16, 13 long years ago. After 5 years in the shipyard, I figured it was time for a treat.  Forgive the celly pic...it's time for a new camera. Now the only question is, what to get on the plate. Suggestions? |
I dunno Marc, can you reach the pedals? Future plans include slight styling changes, suspension work (I want to pull 1G) and a bit of underhood stuff (enough to make it really fun). Not sure if I'm going to stay naturally aspirated, go with a cheater nitrous system or go whole hog forced induction. Good thing I've already got all the guns I really want. |

What shipyard do you work at? I know that parking is typically a pain. I bought a beater strictly for shipyard use. I was too paranoid about workers walking through the parking lot with tool bags swinging around and paint overspray. Beautiful car!!! If I had that beast I'd be over at Dyno Tuned Performance upgrading. |

I'm looking for a beater to take to the yard (4cyl pickup or Civic hatchback). I figure my 01 Honda lost 10% of it's trade-in value thanks to the shipyard parking lot. Allen, I thought you might like it. I remember talking to John a few years back when he told me to wait on the car and get the house first...I listened! I'm on house #2 and car #1! Dyno Tuned Performance is pretty close. I'll have to check them out. |
