Everyone ok? Out of power, vehicle accident, funny stories? How bad did it actually hit yall?
Although I haven't been out today, everything seems fine. No reports that I've heard of in the Northland area (kc metro area). Saw a car flipped over on it's top yesterday at 152 and North Oak. Hard to tell exactly what happened, but I would imagine someone was going too fast on the ramp, slid off the road, went up the embankment, and landed on its lid. |

We prepped a bit, got the Gen Set and Kerosene Heater and all the extra provisions ready... We had a measly 1/8" of Ice, a few medium limbs down and thats it... Pretty much a no event... |

Wished I would have still had that laser light thing from Christmas set out, would have been neat at night... |

Strained a muscle lifting a generator and layed around for three days is about all I got done. I got a start on making a front sight for a pistol, and there it sits; I'll work on it later this week. ALWAYS lift with your back. You're welcome ![]() That's about the only way to lift that box off the floor. I ran into a guy that sits close to me at work, so I helped load his into my pickup at the hardware store and then unload it at his house. He didn't offer to help me unload mine, so he's going to have a helluva time moving his again. |
