In December I realized my chances might be getting slim so decided to just buy the lower for one since that was all i could afford. That's when I discovered the whole AR culture and have been on this forum ever since. Thanks to this forum I now have 10 receivers!

I live in Lyons IL I am currently a college student I am completely new to the internet firearm world and it will take me some time getting used to things, I am 19 but have been shooting since I was young, I got into this lifestyle because as a kid my pops was a trucker and the little time we had, we would head to the range and shoot some 45s and since then I have moved on to bigger things like my AR that I built the day I turned 18. Looking forward to spending a lot of time on ar15.com as it seems its easier to shoot my mouth of on the internet then shoot my guns, a lot cheaper too. |

Programming and IT consulting (When in doubt, reboot) I've been shooting for about 7 years, but I didn't get my black rifle until Election Day 2012. It was just a coincidence when money and opportunity intersected nicely. Becoming a '13er was a natural next step. My avatar is my first gun, a S&W Model 5943. NRA and ISRA member, and I plan on going NRA Life in 2015 when my current membership comes up for renewal. |

S. Illinois (Stationed here) Weapons: Core15 MOE M4, Ruger 10/22 Carbine w/ Wood Stock, Ruger Standard Pistol .22LR (Mark 1, before it was called Mark 1), Ruger LCP for carry, and recently purchased a Glock 21 .45ACP. My step father got me into shooting when I was around 13, and have been hooked ever since. I currently reload .223/5.56 and .380 ACP. (Well, when I can find the components for a decent price) |

Right outside Chicago, actually Niles. I was a licensed roofing contractor for the last 15 years, now I am an NRA and Illinois certified firearms instructor full time. I love the AR15, if I sat in my garage building custom rifles all day long, I think I would be in heaven. |
