The catch on the ejection port cover popped out.
I have NEVER seen that before; I suppose it has happened to someone, but in 24 years around M16s and AR15s, I've never seen it. I wonder a bit if it has to do with a lesser quality cover as it is one of them engraved ones with a Gadsden flag on the inside of it. I suppose they probably buy the cheapest they can get, I probably would. Now I have to figure out if I can fix it. It looks to be staked in but need to get a closer look at it and see if I can restake it without destroying it. |
