It's been a while since I've put one on as interest seemed to drop off for a while.

Who would be interested in attending one?

Who would like one with a shooting component added to it rather than just class room?  If we do shooting there might be some range/target fees to cover.

post here if you're interested.

where would the class be at, and what would be covered i.e. movement, cover, etc....  price range

The shooting portion would likely be in Casa Grande.

The Class is intended for people who have never shot a match before at all.

I think this will be easier for a lot of people than showing up at the range, not knowing what to expect. We want to have you prepared to shoot a match before you get there.

Topics we will cover in the class:

Gun Safety Rules
Range Safety Rules
Range Commands and Procedures
Scoring
Equipment Divisions
Preparing to Shoot a Match
Mindset and Skill Building

I had car trouble when you did the last intro class and I had to miss it, but I would be in attendance for sure.

If it's class room only, it will be free, and I could do one this friday....if you guys want a class with shooting, it would probably cost $10.00 and be next month.

Is instruction to be done by a NRA certified instructor?

I will be the one teaching the class.  I was certified, but I didn't pay to renew.

It's irrelevant though as the NRA doesn't have an "Intro to Multi-gun competition" course, and you cannot use your NRA credentials to teach anything but NRA courses.

Sounds like a great opportunity- I'll make it if at all possible.  I like the classroom, then shooting scenario- especially on a Friday.
thanks!

If we do classroom only, it will be held in Gilbert.

Russel puts on a good class. I ran a bunch of our Venutre Scouts through it and now they're all in the process of building AR's. He needs to end each class with "resistance is futile".

I'd be interested in both.  The only thing is I don't have a shotgun yet, but I will soon.

I would be interested in something like this. I have always been interested in competition shooting and that would be great to do, especially the classroom part. Don't have my shotgun out here yet, but I got the rifle and pistol covered. I would not be able to attend the one on May 19 but definitely be interested if you ever would consider doing something like this again in the future.

Thank you for your efforts.

How busy is the Casa Grande range on the weekend?  I don't want us all to drive down there and not be able to get a bay to use.

Casa Grande won't let us reserve the range for use.

I'd be interested, but I am moving this weekend so next month would be better for me.
