Greetings! I've been lurking (just reading) in the MN Hometown forum for a while now, and I thought I would be polite and post an introduction. I'm not new to shooting, but I am new to learning how to do it right. I took the DE revolver course last spring, and the DE Carbine 2-day last July, and the DE Pistol 1 course last September. I know I've met Fedgunner and McNielsen, and of course Sully, and I am sure that I met several other people whose screen names I don't know. I was the guy that couldn't hit squat. I also brought my dad down for those classes as well. I really enjoyed the classes, and I'm looking forward to taking a few more next season and seeing if I have improved at all. I met a bunch of great people that I hope to see again. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and let people know who I am before I start posting. I probably won't post much because I don't have a lot of skills or knowledge to back things up. I read a lot, but post little. Thanks! |

Thanks, guys. QuinlanV, I remember meeting you as well. Sorry to have left you out when I listed names earlier! McNielsen, you had the 14.5" with the SIR system and aimpoint at the July 30-31 class, right? And the nice ride, of course. I remember cool gear. I'm sure I will run into you guys again. The classes let me know what I need to work on and gave me a good set of drills to practice, and some tips on how to do it right. They were extremely valuable. |
