I am just heading out the door to watch the game and do some serious tailgating. I figure why not throw something up on the HTF to see if anyone has any predictions or smack talk they would like to get out of their systems. I'm going to have to go with the Hawks for the win!

For most Clones fans it does reflect winning a championship, it's a big deal. For the Hawks, losses like that are what stop them from ever having a chance at a National Title.
For the record, I am not a fan of either so I cannot be biased. Just how I see it from the outside looking in. |

Anytime the Hawks lose makes me smile. I'm an Iowa fan. I'll root for any of the Iowa teams... pending they're not playing ISU. That said, the Cy-Hawk series is lose-lose for U of I. If they win, who cares, they're a well-established national powerhouse. If ISU wins, it's David takikng down Goliath. Also, prepare for our season to be complete crap now. ISU treats that game like the Super Bowl and will now attempt to rest on their laurels for the rest of the season while being pounded unmercifully. |
