Is it legal to ship alcohol into Kansas?

I'm visiting a close friend later this year. I thought it would be nice to have a couple bottles of high grade whiskey sent to him so we could sample during our visit.

I would just have it shipped to me and take it to him but it isn't legal for me to do that in my home state (can't ship alcohol in).

Is it legal to buy from an outfit like Caskers and have it shipped into Kansas?

(Asked my friend but he didn't know.)

When my wife and I have visited her cousins in New York, we have had wine shipped back here. I think at least part of it is whether or not the brewery, distillery or winery can ship. Some can some can't. It might be a licensing thing.

A friend of mine just had two bottles shipped from Texas distillery to his front door.

And caskers claim they ship to Kansas

FedEx claims they will do it but will limit quality to 12 cases.

So I would say it is possible
