Maybe not, but the JS is sort of the state's defacto newspaper so I think it does hold some merit simply because of it's circulation.

I feel we all should be using every outlet possible to voice our opinion on gun ownership/rights,carry...especially if we want to keep said rights.  To me that includes meaningless online polls.

I don't vote in these polls so I don't know but can you vote more than once?  If so the poll means nothing because you know some anti is hitting as often as possible, then again I'm sure some of us are also doing that!

In Internet Explorer, if you open up an "in private browsing" window and paste the link, you can vote as much as you want. You just need to open up new windows and keep pasting the link and then vote.
