Any Lawyers in here that can explain this? Is it that a Jury can nullify a law if they consider it to be unjust. So lets say that Crook Co. passed their law turning people into instant criminals who would have otherwise not been except for the creation of this law. Someone is brought up on charges, his or her lawyer asks the judge to inform the jury about jury nullification.Then they can consider wether the charges are justified because said law is a bad one. |
