I have jury duty on Monday - I have no idea that I'll be called but if DKing or one of the other lawyers could talk a little about jury nullification it might be interesting.

you know what is bullshit. I went and had to do 2 days of jury duty (where i wasn't even chosen) I though ohwell atleast i will get a little cash. I got paid $50 for both days, not much but whatever.

Well doing my taxes this year i (like a retard) said that i had done jury duty and way paid $50....they took $40 from me because of it.

What bullshit, $10 for over 8 hours of sitting in a court room doing nothing but missing work/school

The lawyers and courts will lie to your face. they will talk about you not being able to judge the law but merely if the person committed the crime. This is BS and ignores centuries of prcedent. It is the juries job to not only dtermine guilt or innocence but if the law is just. Jury Nullification is one of the biggest reasons Prohibition was overturned.
