While not in the CoC, we do try to keep the HTF free of profanity as much as possible. I have been noticing more and more of it lately, so I just wanted to remind everyone to try and keep it clean. |

Quoted: That is no flipping lie. My heart hurts after reading some of the threads there. ![]() Quoted: Quoted: GD can suck the soul out of you if you're not careful. But it can be like watching Jerry Springer.. Reminds me that my few complaints and issues are nothing compared the drama llamas. Sometimes I will think a story is BS because it's so far out there, and then realize it is probably true. |

GD........ "Generally Depressing" I'm picturing Darin McGavin as the Dad in "Christmas Story" as he changes the tire on his Oldsmobile. As retired USN of the old school I'll say it can fun to curse like a sailor. If the politically correct don't like it, I tell them that if they were truly progressives they would appreciate the diversity of the English language. Think not of them as swear words! They are simply colorful colloquialisms indicitive of the rich naval heritage in which I was raised as a young man. They are used to express the full range and passion of human emotion! Only the PC fascists would seek to limit the freedom of expression and as such as anti-American! But, that said, yeah cursing is over done in the GD. |
