ARRRRGGGHHH!!! Ok now that I've gotten that out....

I like to think of myself as a reasonable person and somewhat patient...I've also been told that I am understanding towards other peoples mistakes but unfortunately the straw has just broken the camels back!!!!

Here's the story: I finished acquiring parts for my RRA AR15 and assembled the lower receiver. Now since I don't have the necessary tools to assemble the upper receiver to the barrel i took it to a gunsmith (Didn't have access to vice grips or other tools) The rifle came back good working condition I was really excited so I tested it when it was picked up. Upon testing I noticed the FF rail was upside down(I noticed b/c of FALARAK's awesome write up!!)....Ok no big deal it's cosmetic the rifle works...so I take it back to have it assembled correctly....that was last weekend...TODAY...I get it back and guess what! It's attached correctly but the freaking barrel nut isn't torqued all the way down!!! WTF!!! I can see the last two threads of the upper receiver and there is a gap...Hell I can still twist the FF rail...They told me that's as far as it would go....YEAH RIGHT!!!...Needless to say I'm not going back nor will I give them any recommendation for other business...I think they are in the wrong business of selling AR's

You know when you pay someone money for a service you expect results...not some half assed job!!...They did great the first time....How hard was it to flip the FF rail over?!?!....bottom to top...bottom to top....wtf....I could've done it correctly! I'm the last mechanically inclined person out there...Poor Holland Gunworks....they sold it to the wrong people.....

ARRRGGGHHH!!!...ok i'm done...sorry ladies and gentleman....like i said just a rant....

I went to the ARMS Room in League City. They purchased Holland Gunworks as the original owner who knew what he was doing had personal stuff going on and sold it.

The only reason I went was b/c my friend is owed an AR15 by them b/c he purchased a faulty gun from them (I guess that should've been enough warning) rather than  refunding him the money he told him them to get a tricked out AR which would result in a win-win for both of them.....WELL....I ASS U MED they knew what they were doing since they purchased Holland...Oh what a mistake that was!....It's 12:30am and i'm still pissed about it...I definitely going to send a nasty gram and let them know of their faulty workmanship! Forget the money take it as donation I guess...that's why I'm here to warn everyone of my bad experience and keep them from the grief I have to go through

You know I can understand if you're an Noob at assembling an AR b/c I am too...but if I have to tell you how to do something...Geez!!! I mean really I'm not mechanically inclined whatsoever...but geez Falarak's write up was STOOPID proof!!! Very detailed and concise! That's how I was able to tell what was wrong...Thanks to the MODs for this website and the wealth of info every member provides accurate or not-so-accurate!!!

Normally i would tell anyone needing gunsmithing to go to derrick allison at sportsmans guns in conroe. But for something small and easy for fix like that just go to the gunshow this weekend and Coz will probably let you use his tools for free. He's good people and good with AR's.
