| I am looking for a good LED headlight to wear while walking towards a stand or when using a climber when your hands are kind of busy. Anyone has recommendations?? |

Though I have no experience with their headlamps, the flashlights from Fenix have impressed me. I've had one since 2007 which has held up to all sorts of abuse. I got another one a few days ago.
The lumen output and general durability of the flashlight, for the price, cannot be beaten as far as I know. |

Petzl Tactikka Plus. I use it just for the reasons you state. Good quality and decently priced. Actually i was looking at this light at some website, while i was looking at some MALICE clips for a vest i have and i saw a lot of good reviews on this. Will give it a try. Thanks |

There are tons of headlamps out there and just like everything else it can easily become "over thought". It's a good light, and I really like the flip-up red lens. Comes in handy when you need just a little bit of light to get up your tree stand. Mine's been doing well for 3 seasons now (this will be the fourth). |

I've got a Rayovac that is fantastic, been working for years. Actually, I've got four of them I think, Wally world closed them out and I bought a bunch and stashed them in case mine gives out, which it hasn't.
3 AAA's, Red LED, White LED, and a Xenon pencil beam. I like the red for easing in to the stand in the morning. Just enough light, perserves your night vision, and doesn't seem to light up the woods. Not sure if they still make them though, haven't seen one around in a while. |
