So I'm reading through Missouri Statutes, Federal laws and the like, and I'm slightly confused.  My question is this-can an individual sell a handgun to an individual under the age of 21, but above the age of 18?  While the question does hold some importance to me, I guess I could wait another 7 months and just go purchase one through a dealer, but man, I found a couple pretty sweet deals.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are between 18 and 21 an individual can sell a handgun to you, but not a dealer.  So your reading was correct.

It doesn't have to make sense, its just the law.

That's what I thought.  Thanks for the help.

With the caveat that you must buy the weapon in the state of your residence.
