Did a quick search could not find what I was after..

I know that we can have loaded mags in or vehicles now.. But! where can we have them in relation to the firearm... Does the law state that they cannot be accessible while in the said car or truck or????

So what I'm really asking is,,, do the pouches on the side of my AR case with my AR in the case count as proper storage for transportation?

For non CHL folks, mags must have a physical barrier between the mag and the matching weapon. (ie zipper or velcro pouch flap)
