Odd question and probably in the wrong place , but I wanted it to be in hometown. I was looking into buying a cheap-o AK and the only thing holding me up is the factory scope rail hanging on the side of the receiver. I do not like it and would like to remove it but do not want to go through all the crap of fabricating a tool for two damn rivets. I'd need to put a shallow rivet in the front hole ( after drilling out the original ) and a new one in the rear trunion after removing the rear rivet holding the rail. Anyone have the ability to do this for me on Long Island ? It's simply two rivets , but I'd like them to be done with a tool that will make them look correct. |
