  Absolutely. Lessons learned: 1) Never use your powers for evil 2) Never point your firearm at anything you wouldn't want to destroy. 3) Keep your finger off the trigger until/unless the weapon is on the threat. 4) Use a decent holster for CCW and learn how to use it (to include safely re-holstering).
