Anyone know where I can get parts for my Amana heat pump? It is a model RHA24B2D. From my best diagnosis the run capacitor is shot. The fan motor works fine when I hooked to my 220 line so I know it is Ok. The low voltage side seems on as well. When the fan should be running it won't, unless you help is start moving then it keeps going. I have read this is a run capacitor issue.
Any help would be great!

CC Dickson or Johnstone supply - a few of each around metro atlanta, IIRC. Bring the run cap in with you, and they should be able to get you a replacement for pretty cheap.
Mark the cap wires and draw yourself a little wiring diagram before you take the cap off. |

I live near Canton and work in Union City. The existing capacitor is a GE 97F9833. I see Fox appliance seems to carry stuff I need but I would like to find something closer to Canton or Union City. ![]() Check your IM I have a spare 30/5 in my truck and live in canton |
