Have a friend that's looking to start carrying soon, but is still on the fence about it. I suggested he attend a handgun training course. I'll probably go with him as moral support. Hell, he doesn't even have a pistol yet, so he'll probably borrow one from me.
Looking at reputable basic handgun courses in the Atlanta/ North East GA/ TN or Southern SC region. I looked at cmshoot's training schedule and didn't see a basic handgun class this year. Advice appreciated! |

I second the recommendation for Sparrow Defense. He also does private lessons. I will be teaching some classes later in the fall, but I haven't locked down the schedules yet. Mostly I teach in Oconee County, but I may be doing some stuff up in Franklin County. Here is the link to my company: Proficient Strategies, LLC. I am also available for private lessons. |
