| I have a 16" Bushie with the AK brake. That brake has got to go! I am gonna buy a phantom in the next few days and would prefer using a local gunsmith or getting together with someone who has done one of these before if I take a stab at it myself. If nobody has any suggestions of a good smith, I will send it to ADCO to do the work. I probably won't be able to get my hands on the gun until June 6th (just moved and all my toys are in storage). Beer Slayer, Here in Bham. I think it is attached by a pin that is covered over with park. It is supposedly permanently attached but I have heard a few guys say they were on threaded barrels once they got them off. I think the AK brake brings the barrel length to 16" so would have to permanently attach the new phantom. Let me know what you think. I will order the phantom tomorrow.
