| Ive got a brother who lives in Galveston county and is wanting to buy an AR. Hes pretty new to it and dont know a lot about them. Do you guys have any local shoots that he may come hang out at ? And what are some local shops he can check out with the decent variety and price ? Thanks ! |

I have purchased all of my stuff from Texas Tactical Gear (and services) as well as Primary Arms. Which include, an Upper, Back up sights, magazines, optics/mounts, range bags, slings, weapon lights.
If I'm not mistaken Jen at Texas Tactical Gear is an LMT dealer, which makes some of the best AR rifles in the biz (keep in mind I can't guarantee the lmt dealer thing, just hearsay). They also have lowers + parts / complete uppers for a do it yourself project. Primary Arms doesn't have an FFL (Yet) but carries a wide variety of complete uppers as well as a helping of parts/accessories (as you can imagine). Both are excellent places to buy AR goodies! Prices at both places are very fair and the employment is great! Very helpful, willing and friendly. I would personally recommend anything higher up on this link, which includes specific details about quality standards, for the most part. Maybe I'm skipping ahead to much? You've found this place so you're on the right start, I have to assume! Happy shooting.

| Where is it located ? My brother is wanting to get into black guns and I can only tell so much over the phone. I told him to sign up an account here which he should be doing. I also told him to come to the HTF and he would probably be able to me somebody to help him out. Thanks ! |
