| Loctite 242 is just blue loctite, I would hit up any of the local parts stores or if you have a HobbyTown not Hobby Lobby ..... Id try there. R/C car guys use blue loctite all the time and I know Ive gotten some from there ... or maybe a local hardware store. Blue loctite is pretty common I would think |
Most places carry the Permatex stuff. I just wanted to give the Loctite a try. |
| hmmmmm I didnt even know that permatex made a thread locker.... Ive got a bottle of the red and green loctite here at the shop that I use, the green is a penetrating formula for once you have things assembled it seeps in the thread and locks that way instead of having to take it apart and apply it to the threads |
