I know this is probably a long shot but has anybody seen any S&W 1911's in any local gunshops around nassau county? Im willing to travel within reason to suffolk as well but can't seem to find any. Im trying to decide between a double star that my dealer has in stock and a S&W 1911 that id have to either buy online (and not handle in person) or get from another dealer.

Hunter Sports in Massapequa has alot of autos on display and Coliseum Gun Traders had a lot of 45's last time I was in there. Not sure if they have S&W's though.

Camp-Site in Huntington had some used and a few new last time I was there a few weeks ago
