I'm looking to pick up cheap, bulk, brass fmj 9mm ammo somewhere in NOVA before the weekend. I dont want to use WWB and I'd like to stay away from steel cased russian. Anyone have any or know where I can get some in cases of 1000 or more? |
I have to confess, lately I have been buying my .45 at Wally World, whenever I see the $9.95 UMC or WWB value packs. Every time I find something resembling a good deal shipping jacks the deal. And Chapperjoe is right, ammoman isn't close most of the time. The best deal I have seen on .45 ammo was xm1911 at $200 per case at the last gun show in Chantilly. Lately I have been looking at 12gauge ammo though (new over/under) and not paying as much attention to it. EDIT: Able Ammo has UMC .45 for 8.95/50, but they tack on 3% (still better than Wally World), but I can't find anything to tell me how their shipping prices work out...their 9mm price is nothing to brag about |
Whats wrong w/WWB? |
Gotta pampaer the new baby |
Cordite.
Only the best for her....for now. I do have 1k of olympic and probably 3k of wolf/barnaul but I'd rather not load any coated ammo in it for a while. I have a feeling its going to get hot and I dont want to test the melting point of wolfs polymer. |
Huh ?, 9mm Value pk WWB is WEAK! Thats why I shoot it in IDPA and GSSF. If I wanted powerful I'd shoot M882 (9mm NATO), Win Ranger 127+P+, or Fed Hydra 124gr+P+ |
WWB uses cordite and retardant instead of nitrocellulose powder. I'd rather not shoot that out of a multithousand dollar gun. I should have bought more olympic cheap crap at the last expo show. |
He wants that "good" stuff to shoot out of it. Not that crap Chi-mart stuff that the rest of us use.
