I'm looking for a range in Central FL that is:

Public

Preferably outdoors

Allows both rifles and pistols

has no slow fire rule

Any help would be much appreciated!

This. Were are you at?  It is a bit vague.  There are outdoors ranges  but it is going to depend on how much of a drive time you want do.

I've never found a public range that let's you shoot rapid/how you want.  Hell I've even found private ranges that still chew your ass if you rapid.

Sorry I hadn't chimed back in again, I'm in the Disney area, and I'm willing to drive up to about an hour or  so.

SCGAA -- http://www.scgaa.org/new/public-day.htm

Is open to the public the first sunday of every month...you could go tomorrow.

As mentioned in the link above: Only slow fire is permitted, except on the PLINKING  RANGE

I've been a member since about '99 and always avoid public day.  Too crowded and any NFA is not allowed on public day.  They say it causes too many distractions.  However, if you are member you can shoot full auto on the plinking range and suppressed on any of the others.

I'm gonna second Ocala. It's a public unsupervised range, rapid all day if you want.
