Right, I've separated this out from Mark's Sniper comp thread so that stays on topic.
So far the following have expresed an interest in attending: Bradders The Original HMB Lynk LV426 + 1 Bolthead DaddyPig M1154 B_R Agent_Funky Me + 4 Hutch ZAZ0903 Weekend Warrior That gives us 21 so far. There's still space a for a few more but I'd prefer it if it was people doing the sniper comp to let them practise. I've spoken to Landmarc and it's definately a lot cheaper to do it during the week. The good news is that there will be no caliber restrictions. so .338 is fine. Has anyone got a particular preference for when we do this. I can ask for it pretty much straight away, but being realistic it'll probably be from March onwards. If we go into the summer months then tracer will be off the menu as it'll be too dry! Given the numbers I reckon it'll be around £15 - £20 per person for the day. Shooting will be between 08:30 - 15:30, we can go later but it'll cost a bit more for the range warden. Lunch is between 12:30 - 13:30. The burger van usually makes an appearance but you're probably better off bringing your own. There's a troop shelter opposite and a toilet. Ok guys, the following dates are available in March:
Wednesday 2nd March Monday 14th March Tuesday 15th March Wednesday 16th March Monday 28th March Wednesday 30th March I need to put a bid in tomorrow for whichever date we settle on. So I'll go with the majority but I need to know tonight. I need your first choice and a backup date in case they fill it up. Personally I'm going for Mon 14th and Mon 28th as a backup. |

I've totalled up the choices on here and bu IM and the date is Monday 28th March. I've put a bid in and I'll confirm when Landmarc come back to us, probably tomorrow. I'll let you know. Sorry to those that it doesn't suit but I went with the majority. |

No guarantees here, but I will look into getting the Monday off work, travalling down Sunday, stopping over somewhere  (any ideas where to stay who wont mind guns), and driving home after
the shoot Monday, in work 6am Tuesday morning

Firing is from 08:30 - 15:30 with an hour for lunch between 12:30-13:00. You'll need your NRA safe shooter card and your FAC. You need to email me at [email protected] your name, address and reg no. also let me know your ARFCOM name. I've the original list of attendees but I'll probably be able to let iin a few more so other than those that already expressed an interest it will be first come first served. We'll provide the RCO's but have a problem with HME at the moment thanks to the NRA. I'll confirm closer to the date. |
