Being of veteran of square ranges and having humped thousands of miles assaulting thousands of trees on private property and not so private property in Missouri over the years I want to take my shooting to the next level.  I saw a post about a shoot 26Feb in Fayette Mo that appears from the thread to get alot of local (STL) participation. Is it like a 3 gun match or just a line at an unsupervised range and our buddy 'Will' and his girl 'Clear'. Which is cool either way I am just trying to get an idea of what to expect if I were to attend it sounds like a blast.  I can get a better idea of how much ammo to bring what kind of gear etc and I can plan for a future 'shoot' more efficiently by hearing any comments any past attendees may have I would appreciate it.

Welcome!!

The shooting part consist of 2 ranges.  One is a tactical course of fire with bad guys and hostages.  One shooter at a time, w/rangemaster/timekeeper escort on your hip.  The 2nd range is a open line.  Usually there are several targets (30yrds??) downrange to aim at/destroy.  Every now and then, there will be a cease fire to go down range to change targets. A total of 3-5 rangemastersare shooting/roaming throughout the group of people.

Gear/ammo-  Bring whatever guns you want to shoot/share.  I usually shoot at least 500rds at minimum w/several people shooting well over 1k at each meet.  Some are in full tactical gear.  Others shoot in shorts/t-shirt.  All you really need for the tactical COF are: gun/mags, a way to carry mags (thigh pouch or pants pockets), eyes/ears.

There are also full-autos for rent: MP5, Saw249, FN-P90, etc

All in all, its a great day of shooting, food and socializing.
