It is a good product, but the taste is a little odd at first. Once you get used to it, it's fine. They tout it as basically a cure all and I don't really agree with that point. The acai berry is considered a super food and has many positive and healthy qualities, but not enough to justify the high price of the Monavie. |

One of our employees bought into the Monavie gig. She came in one day all excited about how she was going to be rich, and once she reached diamond status or something like that the Monaie company would give her a Mercedes. Her: "Blah blah blah and the guy who signed me is retired at 40 and is making $XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX a year without doing anything." Me: "How does he make that much without doing anythign?" Her: "He's recruited so many people, and he gets a percentage of everything they sell, blah bllah blah." Me: "sounds like a pyramid scheme." Her: "It's not at all. blah blah blah [incomprehensible explanation on how its not a pyramid] blah blah blah." Me: "Definitely sounds like a pyramid scheme." Her: "[more incomprehensible rationale]" Me: "If I didn't know better, I'd say it was a pyramid scheme." Long story short, she spent a ton of $$ buying the stuff, and driving around trying to sell it to people, and getting business cards and a website. She had a bunch of meetings where she invited all her friends over to her house, or invited herself to her friends' houses, and then tried to pressure them into joining her program. She'd gripe at work that her friends were starting to avoid her. In the end, she gave all the bottles away (I got one...the stuff doesn't taste bad), and gave up on it. Like others said, the acai berry supposedly has high nutritional value. However, there are many ways to get acai juice for a lot less $$$. You can buy small bottles of fruit juice with acai in it; you can also get acai sorbet from Haagen Dazs. |

100 % TRUTH... It's a scam, BUT, It really does work for many people who use it... I sell the Monavie product... I've been doing it for 16 months now... I'm not rich by any means from selling it... They certainly project and feed you horse shit that you will be the world's next multi-millionaire... I consume it twice a day currently... Two 4 once shots a day... Morning then at night... The Green label ACTIVE juice is the really good stuff... The purple label bottle is crap with no benefits... The whole operation is a Pyramid scheme from the start... It's the best MLM dream come true for the company executive's and investors... ( Multi-Level-Marketing ) Brig Hart and wife Leida Hart the former CEO of Amway also known today as Quick-Star, Intl was asked to market the Monavie product around the U.S.A. Brig Hart was hired quickly to push the Monavie, Inc MLM scheme because of his knowledge and back-ground with-in the MLM business... Brig Hart then hired the best people he knew in the MLM business to help line his own pockets along with Monavie Exec's... He hired former colleagues and ex managers from Amway with high end folks from Monavie close to him to move the product... Bob Robinson is one of those ex associates of Brig Hart who operates the South Florida Diamond Executive Chapter of people who sell the Monavie product... The up-line man who you make rich when you sell your Monavie ass off... Ask me how I know... I have this guy in my top tier log book as my up-line man... Thugs in business suits... I still drink the green label ACTIVE product... It's OK... It works for me boosting my energy level and health a bit... Other than that it does nothing else but drain your time and bank account... If you buy 12 cases of Active a month and sell what you have you will come out O.K. almost like a medium priced bottle of wine... I was moving about 60 cases a month at the Max pocketing $ 600 cash a week... 240 bottles a month to those people I signed up to buy from me... 12 cases @ 4 bottles in each case cost me dealer ($ 92.80) a case including the UPS S&H... 48 bottles in total... Basically $ 23.20 a bottle... I enrolled people to buy the product from me directly on a monthly basis and made more money that way instead of feeding my bull-shit up-link lazy ass people... I sold 90% of my stock and gave 10 % away to enroll / entice new people... I was able to make an extra $ 600 a week really working my ass off hawking this stuff... When the market / economy started heading south in the mid to late 2007 I starting losing my customer base... I stopped pushing Monavie after the Christmas Holiday season of 2007 and gave many bottles away during that time... The extra income shrank fast and so did everyone else... I never met anyone who really achieved DIAMOND status that was not in some way attached to the upper tier people with-in MONAVIE... I was taught by other folks enrolled into the program longer than myself what to expect and look out for... I listened to them and signed people up to buy the product thru me and not the MONAVIE program... I made out O.K. with extra income my way... NOT Monavie's... Monavie promised you the world of riches but failed to deliver what the program was really about... They get rich thru MLM your ass while you work the cotton fields... The Sheeeople GOT OWNED by the program... I was selling the product cheaper than Monavie was and made OK money doing it... I ignored the whole sign me up rape my ass process they wanted you to conform too... You don't force a product like this on your friends and co-workers... I sold 1 case (4) bottles of MONAVIE Active green label for $ 130.00 a case... Monavie was selling it to you on AUTO SHIP 1 case at $ 145.00 for (4) bottles + UPS Shipping... I sold the Active GREEN label drink $ 15 less per case minus the UPS Shipping and saved people $ 25 on each case than what everyone was buying thru MONAVIE... I sold 1 bottle of MONAVIE Active for $ 40 per bottle... $ 10 less than MONAVIE was selling for at $ 45 per bottle + UPS Shipping... This is how I made out OK... I sold it less having folks buy it direct from me with-out dealing with the up-link sign me up rape my ass process pyramid scheme... I took a different route than other folks... It's called thinking outside the "BOX" The MONAVIE hipe was already out there... I just capitolized on it as much as possible with people just flat out buying it directly from me and not dealing with the rape my ass pyramid scheme... I bought the product in bulk and used UPS shipping label business discount credits for direct delivery to me... The MONAVIE drink product shipped to me directly from the Jacksonville warehouse facility UPS ground... MONAVIE only allowed you to order 12 cases max a day... I ordered about 5 to 6 times a month for a 60 - 72 case order... I was making about $ 35.00 clearing 1 case on the low end and making $ 65.00 clearing 1 case when I was selling per 1 bottle at a time @ $ 40.00 per bottle... I did OK with C.C. and cash payments every month when the product was moving good. The rest of the MONAVIE company was a crock of S#^-^$T.... I still have 8 cases of the MONAVIE green label Active left... I still consume it twice a day... It does have it's benefits... Other folks experience will vary...
