I have been talking with a friend of mine recently about forming a trust (CLEO won't sign off) to make an SBR and get some suppressors. Well yesterday my buddy went to our local FFL, talked to them and ended up making a trust using quicken will maker 2008. He said all he had to do was put in his successor trustees, sign it in front of a notary and have it notarized. Is it really THAT simple?

Then what do you put on a form 4? I know with a trust you don't have to do the photographs and fingerprints, but can't figure out what you would put on a form 4 to let them know its a trust.

not being mean here but the easiest answer is for you to look at the Class 3 section on arfcom and read the FAQ's. It will answer all your questions in detail and show you how to fill out the forms.

Your dealer should complete the Form 4 for you.  If he does it right, there is very little for you to have to do.

THIS. I have a RLT and all I had to do was put the trust in the envelope Mark gave me, sign the Form 4, and throw in the check.

[If only I have thrown in the RIGHT trust document. I went to public school, I have no other excuse]

Or just pay Dking to do your trust for you... probably cost the same as the program and you'll know it's done right.
